Arctic Foxes
The arctic foxes of Dovre were once thought extinct at end of the 20th Century. However, thanks to conservation efforts, the arctic fox has made a welcome comeback in the Dovrefjell region. For years I longed to just get a glimpse of them and in August 2020 my wish came true in the form of three fluffy foxes! It was so captivating to see the two cubs and their mum play together in a soundless, mostly graceful game of chase and pounce.
